Biblical Archaeology (Winter 2025)

For thousands of years the Bible has been maligned as being a collection of myths and fabrications from the imagination of its authors. The goal of this class will not be to prove that the Bible is true, but to show that the Bible does not contradict what archeologists find in the ground. We will cover the different ages in the Bible, provide a framework for historical contexts, and examine the material remains from people, places, and events described in Scripture.
