Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry of CCC exists to glorify God by supporting parents in their command to raise young men and women in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4).

We assist parents in this discipleship through Family Worship, Youth Sunday School, and Youth Group.

Family Worship

There is nothing more important than the worship of God. Often, young men and women are offered a gathering "geared toward them" during the corporate worship hour.

Youth should witness true biblical worship, especially from their own parents. Therefore, we encourage families to worship together during the 10:30am Worship Service.

Wednesday Youth Group

Fully functioning mature believers serve and edify the Body (Eph. 4:12-13). To do this, they must know the Truth and disciplines of the faith. Therefore, we study the Bible book by book, verse by verse, expositionally. Time is also given to serving one another, prayer, and fellowship. These are purposefully selected to lead and teach the youth the biblical spiritual disciplines which nourish true believers (John 17:17).

Meetings are Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm from September through May.

June through August, meetings are Wednesdays from 6-8pm with dinner provided.

Sunday School

Students are encouraged to join our adult Sunday school classes from 9-10 am each Sunday morning to gain the much needed wisdom of godly saints who have gone before them. Mature disciples are not tossed to and fro by every wave and wind of doctrine (Eph. 4:14). Furthermore, what one believes determines how one lives (John 3:36). Therefore, we believe our youth need to be involved and integrated into the life of the church as fully functioning disciples of Christ.
